个人简介
杨越,北京大学工学院力学与工程科学系特聘研究员,博士生导师。北京大学工程科学与新兴技术高精尖创新中心仿真与应用软件部PI。2004年获浙江大学学士学位,2007年获中国科学院力学所硕士学位,2011年获加州理工学院博士学位,随后于普林斯顿大学燃烧能源中心作博士后研究。2013年起任北京大学工学院力学与工程科学系研究员。曾获国家自然科学基金委优秀青年科学基金、求是杰出青年学者奖。现任Science Bulletin、Science China - Physics, Mechanics & Astronomy、Acta Mechanica Sinica期刊编委。主要研究方向为湍流、转捩、燃烧。主要学术贡献为提出了涡面场方法,并应用于转捩与燃烧等复杂流动机理与建模研究。
